Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a session with Claudia Roppelt ("I", "me", "my").
By making a booking you agree to the following terms.

1. Services

I provide positive, reward-based dog training sessions on a one-to-one basis, including puppy training and online sessions. All sessions are tailored to you and your dog and take place in agreed locations or via video call.

2. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed once I have been in touch to agree a date, time, and location. A booking is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from me directly.

3. Payment

Payment is due on the day of each session. I accept bank transfer and cash. For packages, payment is due on the day of the first session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

I understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me at least 24 hours notice.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged at the full session rate. If you do not attend a session without any notice (a no-show), the full session fee will be charged.

If I need to cancel a session, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date at no extra cost.

5. Health and Welfare of Your Dog

You confirm that your dog is in good health at the time of each session. Please inform me in advance of any health conditions, injuries, or behavioural history that may be relevant.

I reserve the right to end a session early if I have concerns about the welfare of your dog or the safety of anyone present. In this case, the session fee remains payable.

All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations. I may ask for proof of vaccination before beginning sessions.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for your dog at all times during our sessions. You must ensure your dog is on a lead where required and that you have appropriate control. I accept no liability for any injury, damage, or loss caused by your dog during or after a session.

7. Results

Dog training outcomes depend on many factors including consistency of practice at home. While I will always work to the best of my ability, I cannot guarantee specific results. My role is to guide and support you — the work you do between sessions is just as important.

8. Liability

I carry public liability insurance. However, I accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury arising from sessions unless caused directly by my negligence. You attend sessions and allow your dog to participate at your own risk.

9. Photography and Testimonials

I may occasionally take photos or videos during sessions for use on my website or social media. I will always ask for your permission before doing so. You are free to decline at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on my website.
